Good Mornign to Military Style Boots!

So I got these boots from Kohl’s and I am absolutely in love with them! They bring a spunky mood to an outfit, which very few shoes actually succeed to do!

This outfit is probably the easiest to come by, it is very casual but has just enough bang to make it amazing.

Today i felt a little like a little military girl who rebelled. :) And the army green shorts and black shirt with the boots went above my expectations!  I got many turned heads because the boots with shorts, which many people don’t think about doing because of what people may think. But life’s about taking risks and I love wearing stuff other 17 year-old girls would NEVER imagine to wear!

Easter: Flower Power.

OK, well this is the second time I'm trying to post this. I tried to post it last night after Easter dinner, but I guess my computer flipped out. : )

This season floral is REALLY in and this dress has everything great about spring; the color, the print, and the length.

To me it's a very happy dress makes me smile.  This dress does have kind of weird flowers on it but to me it's very daring, and I’m definitely in a daring mood today!   It has a wonderful color that makes your skin darker then it is which is great since I haven't gotten mine yet. :)

Even though this dress has 'granny' flowers on it the strapless-ness brings a sexy vibe to it, so to finish up the sexy just a little bit a paired it with my favorite black heels!

Whatta Top!

Bam!
So lately I've been in love with corset type tops! This one is a combination of cute and sexy which makes any outfit 100x better. : )

I wanted to be super girly today and the pattern on this top makes my day!  I didn’t really have any bottoms to wear with this and I’m not the biggest fan of jean capris but that’s all i could wear with the top but it was really comfortable. And the Oxford flats brought a preppy zing to it also which is always great. I didn’t think much of this outfit when i looked in the mirror but when i went out it got me many, many comments! : )

Shoes Please!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!  I am madly in love with shoes; to me they complete the outfit over every thing!  This spring there are so many new types on the radar!  I think both every pair of shoes and every outfit one wears has a story, and I feel like the one who should tell them.

Nudes; I feel they reveal the sexier side of you; they are tall, and mysterious.  No matter what you wear they will always match.  It’s your whole outfit say ‘Pretty’ but nude shoes shout “Beautiful!”

Floral wedges! These are so adorable, they have the kind of weird ‘granny flower print but are oh-so delightful!  They bring out the flirty in an outfit, the big platform has an edgy feel but the flowers make them a sweet finish to lovely spring apparel.

Oxfords, they have an old timey feel to these, they are kind of like the shoes guys wore in the early years.  They have a preppy vibe to them, and bring a cool, fresh look to any outfit.

Finally, rain boots!  When you think of rain boots you think of little kids.  You always see kids in their rubber rain boots and their trench coat.  But now you should think again, now they make many different patterns and accessories to go with them!  They will brighten up anyone’s rainy day blues.

Spring 101

Style is all around us, some of us are lucky and know exactly what to wear this season but some of us see what we want to wear but don’t know how to make it look good on our body type.  Since this is the first blog we are going to start out easy the essential spring/summer 2011 pieces, and just a little over view of what you are going to be seeing in the stores.

First off, let’s get out of those dreaded jeans from winter and hop into some super comfy high waist-ed shorts.  At first you may look at them and think to your self those are going to look horrible on me, but just wait, paired with the right top and right shoes you’re going to look like you walked right out a super cute boat add.

The 2nd clothing essential you’ll love is the maxi dress.  These can be paired with heels, flats, or sandals and still look awesome.  They are super easy and you hardly need any accessories to spice up because of the prints.  They are great if you haven’t quite gotten off the last few pounds of that winter weight you gained.  They are nice and flowy and have a good shape.

Another item that hasn’t ever been on the cute list is cut off shirts.  They aren’t snug on your chest, and come to about right above your belly button.  They have all different prints on them and are paired best with regular jean or cotton shorts.

Last off for the clothing essentials are these baggy trouser type pants that honestly look horrible on that hanger but amazing on you!  Most that I’ve seen have a ‘granny’ flower type print that is perfect for spring!  With these you definitely have to wear and easy top with these or you’ll look like a mess!

So these are the #1 spring/summer 2011 articles of clothing you’ll need to look super cute.
